About us

KOUNTRY KIDS KETTLE KORN

At Kountry Kids Kettle Korn, we strive to provide the most flavorful and delicious Kettle Corn you have tasted. Kountry Kids Kettle Korn is a family owned and operated business that was started in 2008 by Merwin and Marla James. From 2008 to 2016, Merwin and Marla operated the business with their 2 children as well as some help from close friends. In 2016, after several years of working with the James family, my wife, Jenna, and I purchased the business to continue the tradition of providing quality Kettle Corn around the Midwest. Trained by the Master (Merwin), I quickly learned the tricks of the trade to ensure that our customers get the same great tasting Kettle Corn. Today, we continue in this endeavor of a family owned business as our children grow and are able to become more involved.

Originally started as a fundraising opportunity for James’s children extracurricular activities,

Kountry Kids Kettle Korn quickly turned into a small business opportunity. Though we operate as a small business, we continue to follow the fundraising theme as we often pick up events associated with our own children’s activities and leagues as well as other fundraising events around the city of Indianapolis. If you’re interested in conducting a fundraising event and would like Kountry Kids Kettle Korn to be a part of it, please do not hesitate to contact us at Kountrykidskettlekorn1@gmail.com.

You can also find us at IU football games, Little 500, and Indiana High School Track and Field Championships hosted at IU. If you are interested in hosting an event or just want to provide us with feedback, you can contact Chad Bales at Kountrykidskettlekorn1@gmail.com.
